**O God,
Who wills not the death of a sinner,
but rather that he be converted and live,
grant we beseech You,
through the intercession
of the Blessed Mary, ever Virgin,
Saint Joseph, her spouse,

an increase of laborers for your Church,
fellow laborers with Christ

Prayer for a Seminarian

May the Lord open your mind so that you might clearly hear His Holy Word, and from it, gain such wisdom and knowledge and strength as He sees fit to give to you.

May the Lord open your lips so that you might truthfully proclaim His Holy Word, and so bring the sweet sound of his truth to the ears of those who have been deafened by the din and clamor of this unbelieving world; that hearing the gentle whisper of His truth, they might ignore all other distracting noises and seek Him alone.

May the Lord open your Heart so that you might faithfully live out His Holy Word, and so by your life and your actions you might be fashioned into a well-lit lamp held by the Lord, shining the light of His truth into the darkness of this fallen world, so that those blinded by sin might see and follow the path which leads to our Lord’s forgiveness and mercy.

Thank you for calling Tyborek to prepare for priesthood. Grant him the grace to grow closer to You through daily prayer.
Help him form his personality as a credible witness to others. Bless him while he studies Your word and the teachings of the Church, and give him a generous heart to serve Your people.

We ask this through Your Son, Jesus Christ, our great High Priest.

My God and Father in heaven, that night in the Garden, on the Mount of Olives, Your Son told Peter: " Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, who will promptly send more than twelve legions of angels to my defense?". ( Matt. 26:53 ).

Father, we ask You now: send twelve legions of angels with chalices of strength out into the Gethsemene of the Holy Church to defend and assist our priests, who, strengthened by the power and presence of these angels, may faithfully fulfill their priestly missions. Amen.
