Prayer:
O God, our heavenly Father, give us
courage and wisdom as we seek to
eradicate the evil in our society.
Help us to realize that your divine Spirit
alone can change hearts and minds
so that all your human creatures may
enjoy the fullness of life you intended
for them.
I pray this prayer in the name of Jesus
Christ, my Lord and Savior. Amen.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, eternal, changeless,
and faithful Lord, we recognize that we
are in need of forgiveness as a nation,
for turning our hearts away from you.
Hear our prayer of repentance Lord
and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We praise you for your tender
mercies and your compassion that
never fails.
Lord, it is only by Your grace that we
can live lives that are just, and merciful.
May Your Holy Spirit enable us to walk
humbly in Your presence and may You
be pleased to restore America so that a
generation not yet born may praise
you. In the name of Christ Jesus, who
has done great things for us, amen.

Prayer:
Jesus, open my eyes to your presence
in the life of every child. Open my heart
to joy in the birth of every child, a birth
that reflects the joy of your own birth
in Bethlehem.
As you shared life in the womb of Mary,
so now send your protection upon every
child still in the womb, and grant to
their mothers the strength and joy that
comes from welcoming the gift of life.
We pray through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Prayer:
O God, from generation to generation,
you have called your people to be the
very aroma of life amidst a culture of
death. Now it is our turn.
Prepare me. Send me. Use me. I am
eager to do my part.
Stir your people every where to take
up this great work.
Amen.

Lord, you are the creator of all things. Guide my thoughts to consider your creation in all of its majesty, beauty and holiness. Guide my heart especially to your creation of precious human life.

Prayer:
O God, may we always be quick to call
you Father. And when we call you father,
let your Spirit remind us that we,
and all people, from their beginning to
their last day, are your children. We
praise you, Father, that you sent your
Son to reveal to the world that all people
are His brothers and sisters, that all
people are your children. Through Jesus
Christ we pray. Amen.

Saint Gianna Molla, pray for the unborn, for women facing pregnancy in difficult circumstances, for the fathers of these babies, and for the availability of appropriate, quality services to make it easier for women to carry their babies to term.

Prayer:
Our Most Gracious Heavenly Father,
thank you for your amazing grace that
saved a wretch like me.
I come against the enemy of my soul
who would have me feel cast down and
dejected.
Lord, keep your children from falling
prey to the accusations of the father of
lies. Turn our mourning into dancing
and may we bring praise to you as we
give testimony of Your healing and restoration
in our lives. For by His grace
we are saved, amen

Prayer
Father of mercy and grace, we thank you for the gift of our children. Grant that every fiber of our being may re-joice when a new baby, our own or any else’s, is born into the world. Help us to welcome them as we would welcome you, for whenever a new baby is conceived, another life to bear your image and another voice to praise and worship you, is beginning. In Christ’s name we pray. Amen.

Prayer:
God Almighty, You alone are worthy of
our praise and worship.
Having accepted Your Son’s sacrifice on
my behalf, I in turn present my body to
you as a living sacrifice.
Thank you for deeming me holy and
acceptable because of Christ’s shed
blood for me.
I pray that you would use me as your
vessel to rescue others who are perishing.
Through Christ who is Our Glory,
amen.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, may we reflect your
character of grace and kindness to
those who hate us and curse us. Guard
our hearts and our tongues as we respond
in love to words and actions
meant to rile us or cause us harm. Let
others see the Hope that is Christ in all
we say and do. In His precious name
we pray, amen.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, we sing to You a
new song, for You have done marvelous
things. Forgive us when we allow
circumstances to defeat us. You give
power to the faint and You increase
strength in those who have no might.
We rest in You dear Lord, and ask You
to empower us again for Your service
as You work out Your plan for us and
through us.
May You receive glory through our victory
in Christ, in whose name we pray,
amen.

Prayer:
Father, you are the God of hope. Your
word fills us with the vision of the
world to come, when every tear will be
wiped away, and death will be no more.
Father, how we need that hope, how
we are strengthened by that vision!
Keep our hearts focused on heaven,
and diligent in the labors of earth.
As we struggle against the culture of
death, root our souls in the assurance
of victory. We pray through Christ our
Lord. Amen.

Prayer:
Father, we praise you. We have heard
the voice of your Son, and therefore we
can make our voices heard.
We have done battle with the power of
evil, and therefore we can have compassion
on those still within its grip.
We have been freed from the kingdom
of darkness, and therefore we can bear
witness to your Kingdom of Light.
May the witness of all your people
through these 40 Days for Life bear
abundant fruit, and may we begin again
each day to storm the gates of hell until
You welcome us into the gates of heaven.
We pray in the victorious name of Jesus
Christ our Lord, amen.

O Father in Heaven. Thou art the Creator of life. Protect all expectant mothers and the babies they carry in their wombs. We pray that those who suffer from the evils of abortion will be open to Thine Infinite mercy and love. We ask for the conversion of all who fail to respect the gift of human life. Heavenly Father, guide our actions to help restore in the hearts of all people the sanctity of human life. Amen.

Mary, Mother of the Preborn

O Mary, Bright Dawn of the New World
by Pope John Paul II
O Mary,
bright dawn of the new world,
Mother of the living,
to you do we entrust the cause of life:
Look down, O Mother,
upon the vast numbers
of babies not allowed to be born,
of the poor whose lives are made difficult,
of men and women
who are victims of brutal violence,
of the elderly and the sick killed
by indifference or out of misguided mercy.
Grant that all who believe in your Son
may proclaim the Gospel of life
with honesty and love
to the people of our time.
Obtain for them the grace
to accept that Gospel
as a gift ever new,
the joy of celebrating it with gratitude
throughout their lives
and the courage to bear witness to it resolutely, in order to build,
together with all people of good will,
the civilization of truth and love,
to the praise and glory of God,
the Creator and lover of life.
Amen.

Prayer to End Abortion

Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death
by the Resurrection of Your Son.
I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.
I commit myself to be active in the pro-life [witness] movement,
And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all,
Through Christ our Lord. Amen!

We praise and thank You Father for every human person whom You have loved into existence. Flood Your blessings upon all who welcome and nurture those whom You breathe everlasting souls. Grant that each of us lives fully Your commandments of love, Your gift of Your love to Your human creations.
We have received the opportunity to live our lives enriching others’ lives, yet some of our sisters and brothers suffer their lives to be stolen from them, even before they are born.
Father we ask that You grant Your Angels such great power over this world that they can stand between our little ones and their murder.
Have mercy upon those who through fear, pressure, or convenience, procure and those who preform the killing of Your precious children. Please pardon and heal them of this great wound in their spirits.
Have pity on us, our God, for the loss of so many valuable persons to our world. We are poorer not only for the sin of their murder, but also because they are our sister and brothers, intended as our family, our spouse, our teachers, our leaders, our friends, our community for all eternity.
Please give all the aborted persons a great ministry of prayer for their parents and for our world.
Mother Mary remembering the grief you felt when 12 year old Jesus disappeared for only three days, and remembering you pain when Jesus was unjustly arrested and harshly used, please pray for these parents, and the children.

Loving God,
Your son Jesus taught us to love and to pray through the beatitudes as a model for how we should live out our Christian lives. Please bless us, grant us wisdom, have mercy on us as we sometimes stray from the desires you have for us, and help us to pray feverishly and with great effect for this intention. Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Bless these children of yours who never have the opportunity to live out their earthly lives, and bless those who grieve and mourn for them. Please send your loving Holy Spirit to soften and change the hardened hearts of so many people who do not understand and appreciate the evil that is abortion. Please guide and lead the political leaders of our country so the rights and dignity of our unborn will be respected and will be preserved by our laws and practices.
We pray in the name of your beloved son, our Lord Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.
