I love this prayer of St. Augustine…

Late Have I Loved You

Late have I loved you, O Beauty, so ancient and so new, late have I loved you!
And behold, you were within me and I was outside, and there I sought for you, and in my deformity I rushed headlong into the well-formed things that you have made.
You were with me, and I was not with you. Those outer beauties held me far from you, yet if they had not been in you, they would not have existed at all.
You called, and cried out to me and broke open my deafness; you shone forth upon me and you scattered my blindness.
You breathed fragrance, and I drew in my breath and I now pant for you.
I tasted, and I hunger and thirst; you touched me, and I burned for your peace.

Blessed be God.
Blessed be his holy name.
Blessed be Jesus Christ, true God and true man.
Blessed be the name of Jesus.
Blessed be his most Sacred Heart.
Blessed be his most Precious Blood
Blessed be Jesus in the most holy Sacrament of the Altar.
Blessed be the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete.
Blessed be the great Mother of God, Mary most holy.
Blessed be her holy and Immaculate Conception,
Blessed be the name of Mary, virgin and mother.
Blessed be St. Joseph, her most chaste spouse.
Blessed be God in his angels and in his saints.
Amen.

**Blessed are You, loving Father,
For all your gifts to us.
Blessed are You for giving us family and friends
To be with us in times of joy and sorrow,
To help us in days of need,
And to rejoice with us in moments of celebration…

Father,
We praise You for Your Son Jesus,
Who knew the happiness of family and friends,
And in the love of Your Holy Spirit.
Blessed are you for ever and ever.
**

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host:
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.

**Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel **
who has come to his people and set them free.
He has raised up for us a mighty Saviour,
born of the house of his servant David.

Through his holy prophets God promised of old
to save us from our enemies, from the hands of all that hate us,
To show mercy to our ancestors,
and to remember his holy covenant.

This was the oath God swore to our father Abraham:
to set us free from the hands of our enemies,
Free to worship him without fear,
holy and righteous in his sight all the days of our life.

And you, child, shall be called the prophet of the Most High,
for you will go before the Lord to prepare his way,
To give his people knowledge of salvation
by the forgiveness of all their sins.

In the tender compassion of our God
the dawn from on high shall break upon us,
To shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death,
and to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Praise Him…Praise Him…Praise Him in the morning…Praise Him in the Noontime…Praise Him…Praise Him…Praise Him when the sun goes down…

“O clap your hands, all peoples; shout to God with the voice of joy!”

Thank you Jesus for your Divine Mercy!
Thank you Jesus and Virgin Mary for the Rosary Prayer!

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
His steadfast love endures forever!” …

and he just helped me find my credit card which I’d accidentally left behind at the corner store :extrahappy:

I know, not a huge favour in the grand scheme of things :o but it would’ve been a real pain to have to cancel and replace it and stuff.

Psalm 113:

1 Praise the LORD!
Praise, O servants of the LORD,
praise the name of the LORD!
2 Blessed be the name of the LORD
from this time forth and for evermore!
3 From the rising of the sun to its setting
the name of the LORD is to be praised!
4 The LORD is high above all nations,
and his glory above the heavens!
5 Who is like the LORD our God,
who is seated on high,
6 who looks far down
upon the heavens and the earth?
7 He raises the poor from the dust,
and lifts the needy from the ash heap,
8 to make them sit with princes,
with the princes of his people.
9 He gives the barren woman a home,
making her the joyous mother of children.
Praise the LORD!

Gloria Patri et Filio et Spiritui Sancto
Sicut erat in principio et nunc et semper et in saecula saeculorum.
Prase the LORD!

The Lord healed me today and stopped me from worrying about a fear of illness that threatened my life and my upcoming marriage. The fear itself had got almost as bad as the illness I was fearing, an illness I thankfully never had.
Praise the LORD!

The Lord taught me today to do something useful with my money and not waste it on frivolous things.
Praise the LORD!

The Lord has blessed me in my work so that I feel completely confident to leave for 2 weeks while I go to America to visit my fiancee.
Praise the LORD!

Amen.

praise him with sound of trumpet, praise him with lute and harp. (Ps. 150)

Prayer in Praise of God’s Greatness

Almighty, true and incomparable God,
you are present in all things,
yet in no way limited by them.

You remain unaffected by place,
untouched by time,
unperturbed by years,
and undeceived by words.

You are not subject to birth
and in no need of protection.

You are beyond all corruption,
above all change,
immutable by nature.

You live in unapproachable light
and are invisible,
yet you are known to all those
who seek you with hope and love.

You are the God of Israel,
and of all who hope in Christ.

Amen.

Mother Earth

by St. Francis of Assisi

Dear mother earth, who day by day

Unfolds rich blessing on our way,

O praise God! Alleluia!

The fruits and flowers that verdant grow,

Let them his praise abundant show.

O praise God, O praise God,

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

1 Shout with joy to God, all the earth,
2 Sing ye a psalm to his name; give glory to his praise!
(ps. 65:1-2)

Father, you are holy indeed, and all creation rightly gives you praise!

Lord I am so humbled by your graces… so thankful for your blessings!
Thank you for all the miracles you show me each and every day!
