The Fifth Luminous Mystery: The Institution of the Holy Eucharist
  1. Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee! Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins and save us from the fires of hell. And lead all souls to heaven especially those most need of thy mercy.

NINTH DAY OF THE NOVENA FOR PRIESTS;

St John Vianney, good and holy priest
‘Continue, therefore, to live in Christ Jesus the Lord, in the spirit in which you received Him. Be rooted in Him and built up in Him grwoing ever stronger in faith, as you were taught, and overflowing with gratitude.’ (Col 2:6-7)

O hoily priest of Ars, you lived in an age of much upheaval, in a time when men turned their backs on God. Your bishop told you of a parish to which he wished to send you where there was no love. He assigned you to Ars and said that you would be the priest who would enable the people to know the love of God. Not only did you draw these people back to God, but your saintly reputation soon spread and many people were converted to a life of holiness. You said that a good priest, a priest after God’s own heart, is the greatest treasure that God can give a parish. Give us such priests!

O great St John Vianney, once again we are living in days of upheaval. There is much evil in the world. Obtain for our priests the grace to persevere in their faith and never to despair. May they walk with the Lord and trust in him all the days of their lives. Obtain through your heavenly intercession, for all priests, religious and seminarians, the grace of modelling their lives after that of Jeuss Christ. We need, more than ever, priests full of the love of God, able to breing the world to Christ. Pray for good priests, O great priest of Ars!

Novena prayer:

O holy priest of Ars, St John Marie Vianney, you loved God and served Him faithfully as His priest. Now you see God face to face in heaven. You never despaired but persevered in your faith until you died. Remember now the dangers, fears and anxieties that surround them and intercede for them in all their needs and troubles. O St John Vianney, I have confidence in your intercession. Pray for them in a special way during this novena.

Inside the Church of All Nations on the premise of the Garden of Gethsamene. You will notice at the foot of the altar is the stone believed to have been prayed on by Jesus. The Crown of Thorns surrounds it. Again I prayed here twice…and I need to pray even more…

The First Soorowful Mystery: The Agony in the Garden

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
