Perserverance during Lent

I wanted to ask for prayer for my RCIA community. I also have personal intentions that I wanted to ask prayer for.

One thing I wanted to ask for is the grace to make a good confession. Lately I have been having trouble saying acts of Perfect contrition, and I think that may be a sign that God wants me to prepare to go to confession.

I just know that Lent is the time when people, especially candidates and catechumans, really get attacked by the Devil. I have this sense all the time that since I have trouble with loving Christ with all my heart, and trusting Him, that I’m just going to get winnowed out of this. I don’t want to go to Hell, and I want to ask for your prayers that I would somehow make it through this.
 
Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,

O Virgin of virgins my Mother;

Keep us all close to you, this Lent, Jesus. Don’t let us be separated from you. Lead us to heaven where we can be happy with you forever. Don’t let us be trapped by the world. Amen.

Praying that the Lord may grant all necessary graces to you and your RCIA community. Also praying for graces for you to make a good confession.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
