Today, at this point I have completed 4 years of undergraduate education, and 2 years of medical school education. After some challenges, I’m transferring schools to one in the caribbean. Complicating things, I am the only serious Catholic in my family, and when I mess up, everyone else takes pleasure in my failures. One of my favorite bible verses (1Cor 13), says Love perseveres, is patient and kind. Just need prayers for perseverance and patience in bearing fruit in my family, especially my mom. I want to run away and find a decent job for a few years, and eventually become a priest. May I have the heart that of St. Monica, that will never give up, will endure and trusting that God will grant me peace, and that God may bless me for my troubles I’ve been through.

This is one way of explaining ‘walking in the Spirit’. It is a supernatural walk with results that cannot be seen immediately, but noticed and seen soon.

Priesthood? must be a male, however, good men are needed too for marriage and family, esp. Godly men…

Mothers can bother, esp. Italian and Jewish moms, who are notorious, and others inbetween,…you can walk free from the bother, by detaching in love,…and not letting the
arrows in,…close fam. members can be used against us by the spiritual opposition as his mouthpieces,…

Our self worth can be based on our uniqueness as sons of God and His complete love for us, seeing us perfection in Christ. not on other’s opinions, We are 'without any sin at all,
having the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, and if we never accomplish anything in life, we are still God’s individual favourite and loved without limit. His love is not based on our performance or success in a thing
 
A Prayer for Perseverance

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe in You as my God and my Savior. Make me more faithful to Your Gospel and commandments. By sharing in the Eucharist, may I come to live more fully in the life You have given me. Keep Your Love alive within my heart and soul so that I may become worthy of You. Teach me to value and be thankful for all of Your Gifts. Help us to strive for eternal life.

May you meditate on the Lord’s Passion so that the Spirit will guide you to where you should be in life.

I will definitely be praying for you! I just graduated and am getting ready for grad school, so I know you must be exhausted with that and the added weight of negative reactions. Don’t worry though, Jesus will lift you up 🙂
