I don’t like sharing my personal business all over the internet, but I’m posting here out of desperation.

For whatever reason, I seem to be prone to being led on by girls. I broke up with my girlfriend last year and finally realized my mistake a few months ago. After I apologized, she pretended to be interested and we were “friends” again-- at least until I learned that she talked bad about me when I wasn’t around. Now, I’m talking to a girl at work. We flirt a bunch, but I’ve had people tell me she’s just leading me on. I’m contemplating whether or not I should straight up ask her about it. Regardless, I like her a lot, and it would be disappointing to find out she doesn’t share the same feelings… especially given that we’ve kissed before. I’m used to rejection by now, so I don’t think it would be too devastating, but absolutely demoralizing. I’m 16 and she turned 18 recently if it helps any.

As the saying goes, nice guys finish last. Might be some truth in that

There are lots of people in situations more desperate than mine, but I’d really appreciate it if you could keep me in your prayers too. May God guide me in the right direction according to His will.
