Would anyone like to share their PERSONAL experience with explaining of the Marian devotion to non-Catholics? I went to a county fair and the “Mary booth” had a banner of Mary over the booth. The Catholic vendors were telling anyone who would listen that they should pray to this Lady, whether they believed in God or Jesus or not. It didn’t work out too well.
The Catholic vendors were male cradle-Catholic senior citizens. They seemed to be putting Mary before Jesus and before God. There has got to be a better way to explain the Marian devotion to Protestants, atheists and people of other religions.
Anyone got some good experience in doing this?
