I was reflecting on my personal spirituality and my personality type (temperament) this evening and thought I would start a thread.
Over the course of my spiritual journey of 62 years so far I have done quite a bit of research into spirituality, gifts of the spirit, etc.
One eye opener was after discovering a couple of books on temperament and spirituality I could realize that just because I did not pray, or relate to theology, just like most people, I was not weird, just different. That difference was from God and I should rejoice in the gift.
I am an unusual type, ENTP, as only about 10% of people are this combination. I also learned that my focus was much more Aristotelian than Platonic, and thus my spiritual type was Thomistic.
I would like to have responses from others on how these ideas have influenced their spiritual lives. How do we celebrate and exercise our differing gifts.
I lost a lot of books in a basement flood a few years ago and have forgotten the titles of many of the works I read but certainly most of the writers were Catholic and influenced my movement toward swimming the Tiber.
I want to understand other posters and for others to understand my faith in Christ.
