Hail Mary, full of grace,
Ok guys, this is something that has been bugging me a lot lately if only how stupid the whole facade is. Speaking someone who knows that gay people do suffer from same sex attraction but who doesn’t accept any pathetic excuse for them to lead a perverse lifestyle, I was very angry that a lot of them (but not all of them of course), in order to justify their perverse inclinations mix up normal loving relationship’s with people either from real life or fiction and say they are homosexual. In other words, they’re trying to turn normal love into something that isn’t unconditional love but into a sex driven fantasy. Let me give some examples:
The anime called Higurashi no naku koro ni has two girls, Satoko Hojo and Rika Furude living alone together in the same house. The show never even IMPLIES that they have any sexual attraction for each other yet it is obvious they love each other a lot and try to save each other’s life now and again yet some people call it a lesbian relationship despite the girls only being 9 to twelve years old. I’d dead serious here.
Then on this same forum, one guy even said that Naomi and Ruth’s and David and Jonathans relationship was homo-romantic (but not homosexual), you know, Ruth and Naomi who were in laws shared a lesbian relationship Give me a break. As for Jonathan and David, they cite that the Bible says that David loved Jonathan so it must mean they were gay. The Bible only meant that they loved each other in the same way best friends love each other. I loved my best friend before circumstances separated us yet I never thought of having sexual things with him or anything. Well all do.
What really drives me mad is the fact that nobody in fiction can do anything so great and loving for a friend without at some point being called gay. You see a picture of some girls sitting on the grass and you get comments implying that they are on a date, or a picture of two girls holding hands and smiling with some jackass saying in all seriousness that they are now going to get ‘married’ or something. Remember people: if you risk your life to save a friend a make him happy, it officially means you are only looking to extract sex from them.
What do you guys think? Its just bugs me the way some people think. We almost never hear people calling leaders of gay communities out for not really helping homosexuals by directing them pacify their sexual passions instead of extracting sex from them. I don’t want friends, be they straight or gay, men or women, to only look at me and expect me to give them carnal pleasure because it’s selfish and you show that you only care about your own pleasure and not the dignity and honor of another person. People with same sex attractions should be told that lusting after another person isn’t good just as sexually fantasizing about any person is a bad thing. They should be told that just because you want another person to be happy it doesn’t mean that they are homosexual and shouldn’t call themselves that, the rules of the world and the homophobic war cry be damned. There is no such thing as a sexual destiny (if that was a plot point in some movie, it’d be laughed out of cinemas) and that they should look and examine their feelings to see if they really do care about the personal happiness of their crush. You know, things which heterosexual people should do but many of them don’t because they care more about the celebrations and the romantic aspect of marriage instead of its foundation (read: the foundation of marriage is mutual love between husband and wife which produces the family).
