Isa 22:15-25
King of Judah - Hezekiah (isa36:1-3)
Office of Steward (singled out of 12 tribes) - shebna then passed to Eliakim (isa 22:15-25) with key of house of David, to be a father to house of Judah…he shall open, none shall shut…etc
Matt16:16-19
King - Jesus (rev5:5, 17:4, matt27:37)
Steward (out of 12)- Peter (matt16:19, Luke 22:24-32)
Some rather interpret eliakim in isa22:15-25 as a foreshadow of jesus, given rev3:7 and that the burden of eliakim/peg will be cut off in isa22:25 (ie pointing to passion of Christ)
I note Peter too was going to be cut down
john 21: 18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.19 Now this he spake, signifying by what manner of death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
