At what point in the history of Catholicism, and who’s reign of papacy, (relative to the laying of hands, from Peter to Linus respectively down the line leading all the way up to Pope Benedict the 16th), did the Catholic Church fall into error? Further more, when did it deviate from Christ’s will, according to a time chart?

Jesus is the Church …Saul, Saul why do you presecute ME? Who was Saul presecuting? Could Jesus fall into errror? NO! The Church is the pilllar and foundation of TRUTH. Jesus is not a liar! The Church is free from error only because Jesus is free from error.

Define “Rock” and you will see why Peter’s chair in the unbroken line of his successors in the Popes remain since Peter was crucified upside down.

Did the gates of hell come against Peter and the Church throughout history? Yes; but they never prevailed and will never prevail, thus we have 2000 years of One Holy Catholic and Apostolic faith unchanged since the resurrection of Jesus Christ. When history proves a crisis in the body of Jesus Christ (His Catholic Church) the end result always proves the gates of hell never prevailed. Give to God what belongs to God, and give to Ceasar what belongs to Ceasar.
