Not to be cantankerous, but I neither petition the Pope for or against any issue regarding faith and morals. He is The Holy Fahter and his decisions are made irrespective of popular approval or disagreement.

I pray for him and for all members of The Church who struggle with their faith in fear and trembling, as should we all.
