In what ways to do the Syriac Orthodox idea of Petrine Supremacy differ from the Catholic interpretation? The Syriac Orthodox Church uses this doctrine to subvert (possibly too strong of a verb) the Malankara Orthodox Church in India but is not willing to take it a step further and admit the supremacy of Peter’s ultimate throne in Rome.

Additionally, does the Chalcedonian Antiochean Orthodox Church ascribe by this doctrine as well?

Any responses? I know this was moved to this forum so it might’ve been overlooked in the transfer.

Probably because Antioch is also a Petrine See and you can’t designate one Petrine See to be supreme over any other. It’s a territorial supremacy, rather than a universal supremacy. Rome is supreme over all the West. Alexandria is supreme over all Africa. Antioch is supreme over all the East.
