My religion teacher at highschool told me that Phil Keaggy is coming back to the Catholic faith. For example in one of his new songs, he quotes a saint. Is it true that he is now Catholic?
His eponymous album from 1998 contains the song “Above All Things”. The sleeve notes say “words adapted from the writings of St. John Chrysostom, excerpted from the Catechism of the Catholic Church.”
If you want to hear the album on cassette (and I can recommend it) it is currently on sale at www.christianbook.com for the non-bank breaking price of ten cents (plus postage).
As to whether he is now Catholic, I haven’t got a clue.
