UN pressures induce Filipino lawmakers to resume discussion over the existing Reproductive Health Bill, which calls for the use of contraceptives and abortion pills to control the birth rate. even the front-runner for next year’s presidential elections, Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, is in favor of this bill. and his mother, former President Corazon Aquino who recently passed away, is a deeply devoted Catholic. i wonder what his mother would say had she been alive?
