From January 25 Fr. Sinnott is back in Pagadian the place where he was kidnapped on 11 October. The volunteers and children with disabilities of the charity directed by him until the day of the kidnapping there to welcome him. He says that the episode will not prevent him in any way to continue his charitable work.
I really like to Thank and appreciate Fr. Sinnot and all Missionaries effort and Charitable work here in the Philippines especially in Mindanao. His kidnapping brought about a certain unity between the Christian and Muslim communities who prayed for his release and safety. My thanks to the Philippine army and company with expressed gratitudes to the MILF for the negotiation and release of Fr. Sinnot.
I would also like to express my deepest apologies for the missionaries who were killed or kidnapped here, but through your work is shown there is unity between Christians and Muslims. These are testaments that your work are slowly bearing fruit and maybe someday, show to the whole world that there is peace and harmony between Christians and Muslims.
