I knew of a city where they had a character like this as well; and once, he came to church and disrupted it. I was a child. I’m not sure if they ushered him out or what.
About 30 or so years ago i remember man in Rome dressed and in robes and wore a long beard and long hair. He’d refer to himself as Gesù Cristo. I just assumed he was suffering from mental illness. He seemed harmless enough.
