Catholic theology is contained in the Catechism (including footnotes of course), philosophy is imaginative thought usually incorporating certain definitions, but basically ‘no holds barred’.

That of the philosopher is a hard craft… it is “just” to conceive an order according as which to explain EVERYTHING.
It is so hard that we need literally a Word of God for explain the ALL things. We just cannot see the World in a good manner because we are inside it. We would be able to understand the world only being God or having words from him.
Given the credentials that the Word of God (the Divine Revelation) has the Church uses it as her framework.
Here is the Christianity, but on a philosophical basis. Using reason we understand that reason is not (far) enough.
But someone has said before me that Thomism is Natural Theology… if it is like that it does not include the Revelation. But certainly that I have said is also a feature of the Church’s philosophy.

Natural theology will take one to the gates of revelation, but no further. Natural theology can prove that God exists, that he is one, that he is perfectly good, just, merciful (pure act), etc., but it can not touch things such as the Incarnation and the Blessed Trinity, which surpass reason.
