I have heard before that Nazi member Alfred Rosenberg mentioned hating the Catholic Chuch because it was (among other resons he hated it I’m sure):
Catholic “Universal” and a threat to nationalism.
Specifically because of the Latin Language which strengthened the unity of the Church since they had one common language.
-possibly also because what is more united is more perfect
Does anyone have any source for either of these or an ability to sum that up more specifically? (#2 especially)
