Subordination; Something that is less superior to another or less valuable.
As in a Hierarchy.
But we would think that gold is more valuable to silver but one is more conducive to electicity so maybe their value could be a more equal plane . I guess this doesn’t have to do with faith? Dessert
I’m just not understanding how ‘subordination’ is linked with the following statement which you made in the context of subordination. Could you explain that please so that we can follow your thoughts on this?

If I was a diabetic and met someone that person would more than likely find out that I had the problem and would empathize with me or also have the problem and feel a link to one of the kind of problem and link up.

Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind. – Albert Einstein, paper prepared for initial meeting of the Conference on Science, Philosophy and Religion in Their Relation to the Democratic Way of Life, New York City, September 9-11, 1940.

Since happiness consists in peace of mind, and since durable peace of mind depends on the confidence we have in the future, and since that confidence is based on the science we should have of the nature of God and the soul, it follows that science is necessary for true happiness. – Gottfried Leibniz, Preface to the General Science

Concepts without percepts are empty. Percepts without concepts are blind. ~ Immanuel Kant
Y’all want to bring out a little background before we stomp all over it? I like to know what I’m shooting at before I aim. Not that I always do.

There I got my puter to work:)
I’m going to cover a couple PH threads on this one.

Sorry to get back so long and I do have to go to work soon but this is more fun.

I think science is suborinate to faith but I know there are laws of nature but all in God’s plan.

I know the chemicals are in the air but don’t really see them unless I see a bird flying and gliding in the waves of the atmoshere.
My faith tells me this bird is worshipping God in it’s way.

My faith brings me in a wave of worship with the Divine but not physically, but spiritually so my chemicals are not really involved so in this way we are a unique creature and more than the sparrow as Jesus says, sorry no bible verse now my brain has bad headache.

About the Aesop Fables I have ordered a book 1884 ( can’t wait but have a couple others to finish but this was a deal) and am going to read about it and do want to discuss it but will start another thread when I have some ?'s More than likely about the greek PH’s or Confuscious:p but I may not start it with PH as my puter is protesting, it probably thinks I only know how to write PH or maybe thinks this is my prime directive or I am really constipated:o Ha Ha Have a great day 👍 Dessert

Oh, I guess I was tracing similar statements from Kant to Einstein to JP2. Sorry you missed that. 😛
