When I was a moderator on another site, I could delete a thread instantly, gone completely and forever… These spam posts seem to stick around for awhile. Although inaccessible, they waste our time clicking on the title. Wonder why they can’t be deleted completely.

I’m an Admin on another site, and we have the ability to not only ban a user but to block messages from a particular IP address as well. This prevents spammers from creating new accounts over and over again.

It’s not 100% effective, but it helps. Unfortunately, spam-busting is not an exact science.

Why is CAF attacked? Our large audience shows that we are very popular. And we are Catholic!

I don’t see a lot of anti-Catholic spam. Most of it is links to watch TV shows, movies, and sporting events online.

Fourteen spamers on " New Threads " list this morning. One of these days C.A. will wake up and realize that they have been hijacked. Someone is trying very hard to put C.A. out of business.
