Hello all, I’m not sure how many Arizona Catholic May see this, I pray someone does.

I’m looking for a traditional and private confessional booth in Arizona, hopefully Phoenix area. Is anyone aware of a church that still has this? A private screened room would be great as well.

Thank you anyone who can help me with this.

All parishes should have a confessional with a screen. Call the parish nearest you and inquire. Of course, right now, that’s not available, but after the pandemic, you shouldn’t have a problem finding a confessional.

St Mary’s Basilica downtown. I am not sure how they are doing confessions
now. Most are done outside in parking lots.

As long as you´re not infected by the coronavirus, a lot of priests are able to hear your confession privately if you approach them. That might not be in a confessional tho, for hygiene reasons. So perhaps call a priest you know, and you may be able to arrange it 🙂

If I recall correctly (it’s been a year since I was there), Queen of Peace parish in Mesa (a suburb of Phoenix) has three confessional rooms with the option for a screen or face-to-face in each one. And all three priests there are excellent!
