One of my favorite just came out on dvd recently. It can be streamed as well. It’s called Phoenix…set right after WWI in 1945 it’s the inspiring story of woman taking back her identity. It’s got german subtitles so if you can’t handle subtitles it’s not the movie for you but it’s got one of the best endings of any movie I’ve ever seen. I saw recently again and still thinks it’s wonderful. It’s a little touch of thriller with an small dash of history. If you like slow evolving thrillers you would like it. It reminds me of an Alfred Hitchcock movie.

Which streaming services is it on? I like foreign movies. Used to drive our office manager Maria nuts by telling her about the latest subtitled movie I watched. 😃

You mean WWII?

It sounds a little familiar. Does her husband have some part to play in this movie?

Very interesting. I like thrillers and foreign films, so this ticks all my boxes. I’ll have to look it up.
