**Phoenix Planned Parenthood fire. **

On Saturday, December 23rd Bishop Olmsted led hundreds of people in prayer at the large Planned Parenthood abortion mill near 7th Avenue and Camelback.

Well, earlier this morning an electrical fire damaged the building. I don’t know the amount of damage, but personally I hope that all that remains is ashes, and I think that this is an answer to the prayers of the faithful who were there on Saturday and who are there throughout the year.

Planned Parenthood has plans to open up 8 new facilities in Central and Northern Arizona. I hope this throws a big kink in that chain.

Does anybody know the extent of the damage?

About $500,000 according to this article.

As for it stoping their other plans, I doubt it. They have very dep pockets they can pick from. 😦

Thanks Wander. I see this as an answer from God that the Bishop and the prayer warriors in this Diocese need to keep up the prayers and activism and stop this evil institution.

To: Wandeaimlessly or anybody else.

This is my first ever post on this forum, and I just want to see how fast I can get an answer back from someone for future reference.

I’m curious who and where from Planned Parenhood obtains all its funding or are they self sufficient?

Thanks,

Renato

Autumn,

Thank you, i appreciate your answer that was very quick. Autumn, since you are knowledgable in this area can you answer the following.

Before, I reconverted to the faith i had not to much knowledge about what the Church tought or what was law in a country, in sweden where i grew up I’m realizing now that abortions are legal.

In any event my eyes have opened up to the teachings of the church and I really feel like helping out in one way or another in extending the teachings we have.

What avenues are there for us to minsiter the church’s teaching’s to people who are not aware of the teachings and why thery are so important.

Are there any organzations we can join, are there any discussion forums where we can reach out better to the opposite side? This forums is great but it is not great since 90% of the people on the foum agree on the same thing.

I would appreaciate any guidance.

By the way I like your quote on the Retirment benefits working for god.

Can’t speak for the present situation, but am aware that in the past PP was being supported partially in some area from United Way funds. Yep, the same UWs that cut or eliminated funding for community youth and senior citizen services.

You are welcome Renato! I would suggest you check with your Parish and Diocese. My interest is NFP. I was on the other side for a number of years. In my Archdiocese, we have various opportunities.

If NFP is an area you are interested in, you may even consider becoming a NFP provider. 🙂

HTH!

God bless,
Autumn

Pax vobiscum!

Too bad it didn’t burn to the ground. At least it did some significant damage.

In Christ,
