I must say that i agree with you Tim
Yes, you can search iTunes for “Divine Office”. You can also search simply “Catholic”.How do you folks get these apps? Search iTune? Sorry, I just got an iPod 4 as a gift & don’t even know how to use it. This old man has built 6 computers, but doesn’t know how to use iPod or a cell phone for that matter.lol:blush:
Very impressive. Bet it’s hard to carry those around with you everywhere, though. This old man has built 6 computers,
On the device itself, open the app store (should be an icon). On there, you can search and then download directly to the device (you log into your iTunes account on your phone). It is immediately available on the phone/iPod, so you do not need to sync before using it.How do you folks get these apps? Search iTune? Thanks, I once saw a book titled “My iPod Touch” that was probably 5 to 6 times larger than the owners manual itself. I think I find & buy that.On the device itself, open the app store (should be an icon). This will work just fine if you have wifi. Otherwise, the app is too big and you’ll have to connect to a pc.On the device itself, open the app store (should be an icon). Books don’t use batteriesI pray the liturgy of the hours and i was trying to show a friend of mine how to use it. When he said to me that he didnt need to learn how to use it or that he didnt even have to buy the book either because he can just get a phone app for it and it does it all for you.I didnt know what to say. So i guess theres no need for the actual books anymore ? I do prefer the book, because it just seems like more hands on.I tend to think that people who only use the phone apps might have a hard time using the book if their phone wasnt with them. Anyone have an opinion on this ?
With your talents, Like, you could probably build a better one. Thanks, I once saw a book titled “My iPod Touch” that was probably 5 to 6 times larger than the owners manual itself. I think I find & buy that.
Holy water voids the warranty. You could do this but then you would have to go to confession.Good points. And how do you get a phone app blessed?
I do listen to psp.libsyn.com/ on occasion. Good point about the hymns, something I need to learn more. Good point!Yeah, I’m taking you to task for that.
I find the audio version of the Divine Office Liturgy of the Hours really helpful. It also includes sung hymns, so I get a chance to learn Catholic hymns.
I have the strength for everything through him who empowers me. (Phillipians 4:13)Or are you discriminating against us weaklings?![]()
