Would it be okay for me to take pictures of the Blessed Sacrament in Adoration, if I make sure not to disturb others? I found a webcam that is always broadcasting the Eucharist at perpetual Adoration, for people who can’t leave home. Is that respectful?

It is not necessarily disrespectful, but I would advise asking the permission of the pastor there first.

It is also important that your intentions for the use of such pictures are good ones.

Yes it is allowed. Mother Angelica offered many pictures of the Blessed Sacrament to both purchase as Holy cards and air on tv. 🙂

Always ask permission from the parish priest…it’s polite.

Absolutely.

There are many pious depictions of the Blessed Sacrament, but an image is just an image, and should not become an idol. In my town, the adoration chapel, where there is 24 hour exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, is about 2 miles away.

I worship and pray in adoration from my home, which I don’t think is of any less value than being in the physical presence – in my opinion.
