Does Catholic Church and “Catholic Answers Forum” considers publishing photos and paintings of “women or girls breast-feeding infants” on conventional media and social media “INAPPROPRIATE”??

I don’t know whether this issue has ever been addressed. From my personal opinion, as a male I don’t see a problem, nor what causes the inappropriateness to which you refer? Please elaborate.

I doubt whether the Catholic Church or Catholic Answers has an opinion.

Actually the Church does. She is for it. There is sacred art that depicts Our Lady nursing the Lord.

Everything you didn’t want to know about the style of art known as “Virgo Lactans”.
Even St Bernard managed to oust baby Jesus from his nursing mother for a while and gets a jet.

So its not inappropriate as others opine.

As @BlackFriar says in his post No. 7 on this thread, in the Catholic Church you’re unlikely to see any depiction of a mother breastfeeding her baby other than the tradtional Virgo Lactans image of Our Lady and the infant Jesus. As for public displays of photographs or paintings of other mothers breastfeeding their babies, attitudes vary from culture to culture and consequently from country to country.

You complain that your previous thread asking the same question met with a poor response. Please bear in mind that there is no reason to expect the Catholic Church to have a single worldwide ruling on cultural issues of that kind.
