I wore contacts for years and did the mono vision thing with them. Fortunately, our scopes were able to be adjusted per each eye. When the next shift came on, I could hear them cussing me out because they had to readjust them but we all had to do that to some extent! Most of us are blind as bats without our contacts or glasses! 😂

UTIs are fun! Well, not for the patient but for the tech…quick and easy. If it was TNTC, that’s all we had to do! Plus, you could see the plethora of bacteria just swimming all over. It was a bonus if they had giardia or yeast! 🤣😲😂

I think yeast I could identify especially if I could see one budding but as for the rest not much. My Dr. (main one that I was assigned to help) enjoyed using the microscope as a diagnostic tool for which I was grateful. When my eyesight got to the point that I needed glasses in my 40’s, then I had corrected binocular vision and finally could see those 3D posters!
 
Meet Haole Girl. A massive 6+ meter female Great White Shark filmed in Hawaii January 2019. Now thaaat’s a big girl!!! And I don’t mean the diver! 😉 Awesome!

At the time of the photo shoot, they were feasting on a dead whale. So it’s very possible that that makes her a little girthier than usual. There was also speculation that she was pregnant. There were three large Great Whites that were present. Including Deep Blue, one of the largest Great White Sharks ever seen, until Haole Girl burst onto the scene.

I rarely allow my photo to be taken and am famous in the family for scowling through 38 consecutive shots of a formal sitting with my in-laws during their 50th anniversary party.
But what the heck, here I am a couple of weeks ago; Our youngest son and I exploring the lake property that once belonged to my parents.

Saw a rainbow-ring around the sun the other day. The interior of the ring was darkened too, though picture may not show it well.
