So, after some time away from it, I’ve come back to the rosary as prayer. And as I did, I remembered something that happened when I first started praying it, some years back. I was called to the hospital bed of a very dear friend who wasn’t a believer in Christ. I had been told, just a day before, that I should ask for something big when I prayed my rosary… so I sat in the hospital car park and I prayed for her conversion. When I went in there, all she wanted to talk about was Jesus, and she became a believer in that hospital room. She died three days later, talking about being baptized.

I’d forgotten about it until I picked up my rosary again this week. So as I go through my own struggles, I don’t know what the outcome will be, but I trust that this is a good prayer, and that Mary is a good mother, and Jesus is a good friend. I’m glad I picked up my rosary again.:byzsoc:

Amen! Amen!
I too was not a one to pray the rosary but sometime last year I joined the Confraternity of the Rosary and, like you, I am glad that I did.

When I was going through chemo the only thing which comforted me was praying the rosary. I have been saying it daily ever since.

It has been a real source of comfort and help to me also.

May God bless and keep you. May God’s face shine on you. May God be kind to you and give you peace.

:blessyou:

May Our Lady, Queen of Angels, keep you always in her prayers and may you THRIVE!

Who knows where Our Lady will lead you, maybe even to Mass one Sunday.:yup::🍿

The same to me also. When i travel i just pray rosary, which actually makes my think clear and helps me in doing the work neat and clean.

I’d honestly have no objection these days. My difficulties with the mass are long gone. The obstacles to me becoming Catholic are entirely practical issues now

That’s wonderful! It was about this time of year that i decided to become catholic…I stopped attending Protestant services, started attending Mass, it was a rather long year of waiting for the Eucharist, but was so worth it! I prayed the rosary before I converted, probably about two years.

I’ve explained to the children that I find the rosary comforting especially when you really don’t know what to say to God, to pray for, or just can’t think straight… Go to the rosary and you are instantly in prayer.

Wonderful testimony of what prayer via the rosary can do, thanks for sharing! and…

Welcome Home!
