It is beautiful and a worthy place to worship. We inherited the home altar of a dear friend, a retired Byzantine priest, who used it for daily Divine Liturgy in a spare bedroom of his home after retirement:

It now serves as our family prayer chapel. (Larger image.)
they have like a thousand different flavors, which one should i get for home useage?I just bought incense last week from thehtm.org/catalog/index.php?cPath=38&osCsid=2a454f925c27e4f6ce2a507947bbf795 the holy transfiguration monastery. They appeared to have the best prices. I got a lb of incense, censor, and charcoal(100 bricks) for just about $50 with shipping.
Indeed! I nearly smoked myself out of my house the first time I tried. But some restraint is in order. Even a small church is larger (especially taller) than a typical home, so a little goes a long way.
Thank you! The crucifix is 11" by 7" and is mounted on a larger cross. Your altar is very niceTo tbtcom 1213,
WOW, thats a gorgeous crucifix. How big is it?
I say the Rosary in my bed sitting up. I have 3 pictures of the Blessed Mother leaning against a pillow that I look at while I’m saying my prayers. My favorite is this one, Our Lady of the Angels:I’m looking into this and was wondering if you all could help me with some ideas, so if you feel like sharing please post pictures of your altars/prayer spaces!![]()
I visited your blog & wanted to say I really enjoyed it! I am in RCIA currently & can see that I am only just beginning to glimpse this Church. Your description of th feast day of the innocents was great! Love all the pictures!Thank you! The crucifix is 11" by 7" and is mounted on a larger cross. Your altar is very nice.
