Contrary to claims of a cover-up, all tiaras manufactured since 1800 still exist and are on public display, with a number being sent around the world as part of the " mv.vatican.va/3_EN/pages/z-Patrons/MV_Patrons_03_03.html Saint Peter and The Vatican: The Legacy of the Popes] " exhibition which visited the United States in 2005. Only a handful, notably the Belgian Tiara of 1871 and the Gold Tiara of 1903, have any writing at all. The 1871 tiara’s inscription is not “Vicarius Filii Dei” or anything that could be confused with it, but CHRISTI VICARIO – IN TERRA – REGUM (translated: “To the earthly Vicar of Christ”).

Yes, but they said that “Vicarius Filii Dei” was written. (VICARIVS FILII DEI = 5+1+100+1+5+1+50+1+1+500+1 = 666)

Methinks they were just jealous of our beautiful tiaras :rolleyes:
