The Rocky Mountain News covered the story this way, along with festive pink pictures:
A river of pink flooded downtown Denver this morning as more than 60,000 people ran and walked in the 16th annual **Komen Race for the Cure **to support people affected by breast cancer.

That was the liberal half of the news. The other half of the news was that **CO Right to Lifers **wanting ignorant women to learn a significant but covered up cause of breast cancer - abortion - parked a Truth Truck along the parade route and also picketed with signs.

The other half of the news was that a man jumped out of the crowd and grabbed **Leslie Hanks’ **signs and literature and tried to destroy them. The cops arrested him, slapped him in cuffs, and Leslie filed a complaint.

We’ve been through this before in other threads. I don’t want to be attacked, but if you research it, you will see that abortion does not lead to increased risk of breast cancer unless you have more than one, and likely more than 2 later abortions (not first trimester) - then those later abortions could be one of the causes, or contributers to breast cancer. The studies that show breast cancer can result from abortions are flawed and biased, and based on studies that were not preformed correctly - it was human reporting, which is the most flawed kinds of studies out there (I should know, I have a B.A. in Psychology) and when these studies are controled and done correctly, as I said the evidence proves that unless you are speaking of several later term abortions, a first trimester abortion does not increase the risk of breast cancer. That is the truth.

Also, I am sad that these walks sometimes get slammed and I take offense at it because they do great good as well - I proudly walk as I almost lost my grandmother and aunt to breast cancer - hereditary, and I am thrilled at all the advances they have made in the cure for cancer 👍 False claims of early abortions causing cancer really rile me up! Now, attack away with all the pro-life (which I have nothing againt as I am pro-life) websites which say this is false (and not the proven scientific studies websites) 😉
