How many people here use the little blue Pieta Prayer Book published by MLOR?

I noticed the most socially active people in my parish rarely stick around after Mass or use any supplemental prayer books during, before or after Mass, but last week at Exposition, I noticed one other person besides myself with the Pieta book. His was well worn. And I got kind of curious. Do you have one? If so, how often do you use it? Do you carry it with you? How long have you had it?

I did have one when I was younger, and one local church actually has them available for sale.

I lost the book, though, and being that I found (find) some of the contents a little troubling, (a ‘true letter of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ?’ :ehh: and some of the St Bridget promises, for example) I’ve never bought another one.

But a lot of the prayers and thoughts are lovely - I still say the St Joseph prayer from time to time, for example.

I carry mine all the time, but I only use it after Mass when I say the Anima Christi and the Litany of Humility.

Peace,
Linda
