Hello friends,

My husband and I are flying to Lourdes today, for a week-long pilgrimage. We’re part of our Archdiocese group, and there will be many people going along with us.

My husband has some serious health problems and I’m praying we both find the week to be spiritually-uplifting and physically-refreshing.

Please spare us a thought in your prayers, and for all the other pilgrims who will be making the journey with us.

Thanks and God bless you. 🙂

Praying to Saint Bernadette for you. I’ve been there myself about 5 years ago, it was a wonderful experience! (That may have had something to do with my going to confession after a hiatus of about 10 years. The confessors there are wonderful priests. 👍)

Today’s rosary and Devotion to the Infant of Prague went out for all of the people and their petitions here on the Catholic Answers Board. That includes you.

May the Peace of the Risen Lord be upon you and you may you and your husband find physical, mental, and spiritual rejuvenation in your contemplations with Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayers for you, your husband, and for the other on pilgrimage.

How lovely! May it be everything you need at this time.
Be safe, we’ll miss you!!!
🙂

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Bon voyage et bon retour! 🙂

Praying for you and your husband…
O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity.
O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power.
O show us that you are our Mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen.

I’ll say a prayer for you, everything I know about traveling to France says to use a little French. Hey, step it up a little, and use Occitan, the Local language. God bless you 👍

Gracious and merciful Father, please come to their assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

Remembering you, your husband and all the pilgrims accompanying you in my daily prayers. God bless.

Thank you to all for your kind prayers, which are very much appreciated. We arrived very late last night. My husband struggled a lot with the journey and is resting today, but I have been out and seen the beautiful basilica, lit some candles and enjoyed the prayerful atmosphere. 🙂

Yep, some folks there still do, and I have no idea, I have never used Rosetta Stone.
Te saludi, Maria, de gracia plena,
Lo Senhor es amé tu,
Benesida siás entre tótei lei femnas
e benesit lo fruch dau ventre tieu Jesus.
Santa Maria, Maire de Dieu,
prega per nautrei, lei pecadors,
ara e dins l’ora de la mort nostra. Ansin siá.

I attended a wonderful Eucharistic Procession and Adoration yesterday. We had about 30 priests there, and the readings were repeated in English, French and Italian. Our very large contingent (hundreds of pilgrims and helpers) is being led by our Archbishop, we are blessed to have him with us.

Here’s a pic I took on Saturday. The people in yellow on the left of the shot are just a few of our young teenage helpers, who are doing such a fantastic job in pushing wheelchairs for the assisted pilgrims.

Wow, that is so cool! Great picture! And how kind of you to share with us. 🙂
Thank you also to Adam for the Hail Mary!. Lovely!
