I have an urgent Question to ask… and I need sincere suggestions please…

My family is Muslim, and I’m a convert from Muslim to a Christian, the problem is that none of my family members are aware of my conversion although, my mother does know but she thinks i may have converted back since i dont speak of Christ or pray in front of her, i do it when im alone and in peace…
Anyhow, this coming Thursday my family and i are going to Saudia Arabia , for a Holy pilgrimage for Musims to Makkah, where every Muslim are there to worship Allah, and bow down to the Black Stone.
I personally dont feel comfortable going there and being a part of this journey since I have embraced Christianity, I honestly believe that ill be betraying Christ, what should i do?
Although I know i waont be praying to the God of Muslims, but my heart doesn’t accept me even being a part in this whole travel…
Even if i tell my parents that i dont want to go, they would question me as to why, and revealing my conversion to Christianity isnt a good time, I would like if you please suggest me a way to handle this situation as to what should i do with the Pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia??

Your suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Thankyou

Nida

Unfortunately I have no advice but I want to offer you my prayers. If you would be in danger if your conversion is found out, perhaps you should go with your family and instead of praying as they do, pray as a Christian does instead. May God bless you and keep you safe from harm.

If “praying as a Christian does” would mean a discernable difference in outward appearance, I would highly suggest that you not do this if you do go, as practicing any religion apart from Islam is forbidden in Saudi Arabia and subject to strict punishment. If you go through the motions in such a way that would not alert others to your differences, but internally direct your heart to Christ, that would keep you safe, at least. I recently read a book by a Muslim woman (Westernized) who spent some time in Saudi Arabia for work and she had to endure a lot of harsh treatment, even as a Muslim woman, simply because she did not know the customs there and wasn’t used to the strict interpretation of Islam.

I would try and find a way to not go. How old are you? Do you live at home? Could you invent a work or school excuse?

Do you have a pastor? It would do you good to talk to someone in person, and in particular that someone who has religious authority over you. You need some in-person guidance and support.

Unless you have a genuine excuse to not go to saudi arabia eg school, work, being unwell …then you will most likely HAVE to go on the saudia arabia trip

Dont panic if you have to go…while everybodys praying to allah then pray silently in your heart to the holy trinity…do it in a way that nobody around you would suspect you are christian.

When you are going around the black stone while the others are praying muslim prayers you could be asking god, jesus and the holy spirit to convert every muslim there and every muslim in the whole world to the holy catholic church

You could spend your time there praying to jesus for the conversion of all the muslims there…that way your parents are happy you attended…nobody suspects you are christian which may put you in danger…and you have spent the pilgrimage doing jesus work by praying for the conversion of all the muslims there and all the muslims in the world to the holy roman catholic church

You should go, as your family wishes, to Saudia Arabia. Try and do the minimal in participating in the prayers and silently substitute Catholic prayers whenever you can. Bless you for your courage and may the Archangel Michael protect you on this trip.:knight1:

You are in difficult situation, and I honestly have no clue on how to give proper advice given where you live and you’re family situation. The only thing I can offer is that if you must go to Saudi Arabia, you must keep quiet. Non-Muslims are FORBIDDEN to enter Makkah, and entering this city will subject you to harsh punishment if they find out you are Christian. Furthermore, being an apostate to Islam is dealt with very severely (including the death penalty). I can only pray that you find a way out of this situation.
