I was just wondering if anybody was aware of any orders or perhaps diocese that offer pilgrimages to Rome or the Holy Land for groups of men discerning the priesthood? I’d like to take such a pilgrimage, but I think it would be much more fruitful if the experience could be shared with others going through the same discernment process as I am. I think I once heard that the Legion of Christ offer such trips?

Before we moved from Missouri in 1996, I had planned a monastic tour (‘nun run’) for St. Louis. We were going to end the tour at the shrine of St. Rose Phillippine in St. Charles. At the time there were seven monasteries in the Gateway to the West. The Augustinian Nuns have since moved to Illinois.

Not a lot of help, but the thoughts are out there.

Blessings,
Cloisters

Try the website or call and ask. What have you got to lose?

Can’t think of any, you may want to call your local Priest and see if he knows, maybe your diocese. Wish I could help. I agree it would be nice to go with others with the same discernemt. God Bless.🙂
