As a layperson who attends the Traditional Latin Mass at Saint Boniface Church every Sunday, I would like to express my deepest heartfelt thanks to Fr. Kenneth Myers for his dedication and love he has for each member of the Pittsburgh Latin Mass Community. My sincere daily prayer is that we may all cherish this gift we have in Fr Myers and the opportunity to attend the Traditional Latin Mass that the Lord has blessed us with here in Pittsburgh for years to come.

Does anyone know if the former chaplain, Fr. Eugene Dougherty is still around? He was my pastor at St. Mary’s in New Castle, PA for many, many years before coming to the Pittsburgh Latin Mass Community. His 10:30 Masses at St. Mary’s were the best Novus Ordo Masses I have ever been to.

Also, does anyone know what happened to the Pittsburgh Latin Mass Community website? I used to like to see what is going on there. But, it seems to have disappeared the past couple of years.
 
The one time I went to Mass here, was enough spiritual sustenace to last me months. Father Myers and this parish, the choir and everything else about that place, are absolutely incredible, and I imagine that this is what Mass with the Pope would be like. Our Lord is very happy there, I am sure! 👍
 
I have been to St. Boniface a few times, but the drive is too far. However, I go to the Latin Mass in the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese at Queen of Peace.

Anyone else from Patton out there?

I second the OP. I love St. Boniface, been there many times. Its good to know that a number of our younger priests in the diocese are ready and willing to learn…and are infact learning…to celebrate the EF as well.

I remember the Latin Mass growing up in Monongahela, but haven’t heard of anyone in Colorado that does it.
 
Anyone going to the First Mass of Fr Shannon this Sunday?

I’ll be there (wearing a sword, a red cape, and a white plume on my chapeaux).
