The controversial pope, who has been criticised for not speaking out clearly against the Holocaust, ‘‘even ran personal risks’’ to save Jews, said Msgr Sergio Pagano, Prefect of the Secret Archives.

Even when the archives are released there will still be the nay-sayers. The facts are clear yet the blind continue to lead the blind. I’m begining to think the Pope should just ‘get on with it’ and make Pius a Saint and tell the criticts to butt out and stop slandering in a most vile way a very decent honourable and loving man.

Gloda Meir (at the UN during the war), the head Rabbis of Romania and Jerusalem in the war, many Jews including those in the concentration camps, Albert Einstein (no idiot), the first 2 preseidents of Israel etc have all had nothing but good things to say about Pope Pius, but the’ve probably just been brainwashed I guess by some Vatican conspiracy.
