The reason im asking is because its the 21st century and with the whole feminist movement, I wanted to see if people on here actually still follow these traditions. I only know of one family where its like that. And its my friend whose parents are penecostal. The men always have authority in their family. So i wanted to see if catholics followed this too. I’m not actually catholic, im a christian. Meaning, i only believe what the bible says -nothing taken away or added. My dads family is all catholic to heart and i was baptised catholic but that doesn’t mean i practice all the catholic views.
Second off, i never said i would remain celibate for life. I said that my FOCUS is not on marriage, it is about accomplishing things that i want to do before i die. If marriage comes along, fine, but that is NOT my focus. I am not going to live my life with my only focus being getting married and starting a family. There are things i want to do, accomplish, see and go to before i die, and that is what im going to do. If a man comes along, thats one thing but it is NOT my focus. Do you understand what I’m saying?
