Places to buy traditional Catholic resources cheap?

I was wondering if there was any websites or places that anyone knew of that sold traditional Catholic materials, such as catechisms, bibles, concordances, apologetic material, commentaries, and the such specifically from Pre Vatican II. Post is fine, but I trying to get mostly from the pre conciliar period?

It would be nice if the material is not too expensive. I am trying to build a library for a Catholic confraternity I belong to in which people will have access to this material.

“Cheap” has left the building. Your best bet is to troll Ebay for bargins. But even there folks have raised prices as the demand increases. Prior to 2007 most items were 1/3 the prices of today.

I know that autom.com has cheap Catholic resources. Since trad Catholic stuff is usually more hard to come by nowadays, it will probably be harder to find mass quantity and therefore to find it inexpensive. Keep googling or I’m sure someone on here can help you.

Second hand bookstores, church bazaars, and other second hand stores are great places to find old books. Flea markets are also amazing. I also have found some good deals on amazon as well. Church bazaars in general are good. You can also contact your local parishes and religious orders and ask if they have resources that they would be willing to donate unwanted material.

When I was a self-proclaimed Traditional Catholic, I perused Trad catalogues, figured what I wanted to buy and then put the titles into search engines at Amazon, or Abebooks, or allcatholicbooks.com. That was how I got decent prices.

I’m in need of some cash…and I have Traditional Catholic books that I’m wanting to unload. If you send me a message with the titles you are looking for or even general subjects I can let you know what I have and we can agree upon a reasonable cut rate price. Everything from 1962 missals to mantillas to devotionals to childrens resources to home schooling and treatises on the “crisis in the church”. I have it all and I am ready to sell.

I found an antique prayer book with the training and directions for Altar Servers, all with the Latin responses for Mass in a box of junk books at a garage sale! It had a note written inside, given to a little girl on her 10th birthday in the 1890’s - 1910. Got the entire box of books for $1.00! Would be glad to send it to you. It’s just a small (about 4" x 3" ) prayer book with the common prayers, preparation for Confession, instructions for Confession for children, the Mass (in Latin with English explanations of some parts) and with very old drawings in black and white. Weighs maybe 6 oz. or so. Send me a pm and give me an address to send it to you and I’ll mail it out. Offered it as an antique to my Priest, he considered it an oddity and didn’t have any use for it! It was between books at the bottom of the box, but is in very good shape. I have it in a plastic bag to protect it now, just sitting here. Would it be helpful for you?

Let me know if you are interested. If not, I found a Latin Rite Church about 55 - 60 miles west of me who might use and treasure it, since it has all the instructions for Altar Servers in the Latin Mass included in it.
