I read that emergency contraception is approved if conception hasn’t happened yet. I this true? I always thought the Church was totally against abortion in all cases. Please explain.
If there is no conception, there can be no abortion. Abortion is the termination of a concieved child.I read that emergency contraception is approved if conception hasn’t happened yet. I this true? I always thought the Church was totally against abortion in all cases. Please explain.
Rape is not a conjugal act - it’s an assault. The woman has every right to defend herself from the attackers sperm. That is why contraception is allowed.Correction…I thought the Church was against all contraception.
With all due respect I find this an odd thing to be thankful about, Plan B could cause a chemical abortion, which further victimizes the rape victim. It could lead to breast cancer and even more instances of abortion.God Bless Plan B for those who are raped and seek immediate attention.
