Sorry, but Planned Parenthood is a special interest group and should not receive any federal funding.

They do pap smears and sell birth control. So what? People should get that stuff done at a real doctor’s office, not at some clinic. That just seems so unsafe to me. Even abortion, if I believed in abortion, I’d get it at a doctor’s office and not Planned Parenthood.

If uni kids and celebs like it so much, they should donate their own money to keep PP going. Don’t force taxpayers to pay again for something that can be done at a doctor’s office. And plenty of people have Medi-Cal, so there is free health care available.

This doesn’t seem credible. This woman is stating PP is relying on 50% of contraceptives failing in order to make their non-government revenue of ~700million dollars. Not only is that a bad business model, it doesn’t make sense. What information are you hoping I take from this woman who admits earlier in the interview that PP is evil (no bias of course)?

No. My daughter works for Planned Parenthood and is the one through whom all monies flow. She is an expert in non-profit management, laws and reporting.

About 10% of the total budget for Planned Parenthood in any one location pays for abortion procedures. That’s from independent donors and fund-raisers. And they don’t use all of that money for the abortions, so they aren’t even tempted to use government funds.

For many women and others, their local Planned Parenthood clinic is the only source of medical care they have. Including prenatal care. That is, they also help women have healthy babies. PP does a huge amount of education and community outreach.

I think they under report abortions. So it’s likely they under report just about everything that would paint them in a bad light. .
