Well, I must recant what I said earlier. I have since came back to the Catholic Church and I am ashamed of what I said earlier. Please forgive me.
 
WE WON IN COURT - Per Judge: Planned Parenthood Aurora CANNOT open

Praise God!

Judge Norgle just DENIED Planned Parenthood’s request for an emergency preliminary injunction. That means the City’s investigation can continue, and PP STAYS SHUT!

I’m concerned that the matter getting sent to the Kane County State’s Attorney is just the kind of convenient “out” that the City of Aurora and Planned Parenthood needs.

It seems that all the media liberals are coming out of the woodwork on this one. Some WGN radio hosts (and thier sister Tribune writers) have spent a fair amount of time trying to get the word out about how this clinic should be allowed to open. Poor aging fogeys who want to kill off the next generation. Aw well, they’ll be dead soon enough, themselves.
 
I’ve been following this since I’m about 50 miles away from this joint. It’s ridiculous; there’s a huge apparent gap between the media folks (who are aging 60s babyboomers with a tight hold on their cherished liberal values: the whole battling must remind them of old protest times; it’s all pretty quaint); and younger people who are much more aware of what abortion really does, all around.

Also: I hate this parochial notion that you HAVE to live in one particular community to have a voice there. It’s obvious in this case, and in this day and age, that businesses have customers from beyond the town lines. . . and impacts beyond those lines, too.

Fr. Frank Pavone made a comment the other day which stated…

We should only vote for political candidates who serve the people NOT kill the people.

When Obama was in the Illinois Senate he voted against the Illinois Born Alive Infant Protection Act which would make it illegal to kill a born baby outside of the womb. Talk about extreme.
 
If I was in America, he wouldn’t get my vote, but I am not. So it’s upto you Americans to do the right thing :cool:

Just as I suspected:
(AP) AURORA, Ill. A Planned Parenthood clinic that has been shuttered while city officials reviewed how it obtained its building permits will be allowed to open, city officials said Monday.

Mayor Thomas Weisner said three reviews by three different attorneys found no legal basis for denying the clinic an occupancy permit. It was not clear when the clinic would open, but Weisner said the building department was working on issuing a temporary occupancy permit.

Well got an email from the 40 days thing and this is what it said:

Today, the city of Aurora caved to Planned Parenthood.

At a press conference this afternoon, city officials
announced that they are about to grant a temporary
occupancy permit to Planned Parenthood, and the
abortion facility plans to open its doors to begin
killing children and wounding women at 10 AM (Central
time) tomorrow, October 2.

I just got off the phone with Eric Scheidler, leader of
the 40-day effort in Aurora, and here’s where he needs
our help right now:

→ #1: Please get down on your knees and pray for God
to work a mighty miracle between now and 10 AM to keep
this abortion center from opening. The people of Aurora
have provided hope for the rest of the nation and we
need to stand with them in their urgent time of need.
