I heard a good story yesterday that will warm your hearts. I met a guy who said he and his wife can’t have children. His wife went to an OB/GYN that had just met with a young lady who was pregnant from a wild weekend of indescretion.
Seeing the problem of patient “A” and the problem of patient “B” he asked them independently if they wanted to help each other out. They both agreed and the OB/GYN referred them both to a collegue that happens to practice adoption law. Long story short, the OB/GYN lost two patients: one no longer needs fertility treatment and the other canceled an abortion. Oh well, maybe he will be of service when this baby girl grows up.
Apparently, this is something this Dr does on a regular basis.

Excuse me but how did an OB lose a patient who was pregnant? One of the things an OB does is care for women throughout their pregnancies so, this OB maybe just doesn’t do abortions and like you said, you heard he/she does this all the time.
My OB/GYN never did abortions. He no longer practices obstetrics and is not taking on new patients, just seeing us older women for our annual visits.
As for Planned Parenthood they are a despicable organization who exploits women! It doesn’t surprise me that they didn’t report any referrals for adoption, even if they had any figures they could be embarrassed by them:shrug:.
Every time I pass by the local PP clinic in my town I pray a Hail Mary for all those women who enter the clinic and for the clinic workers themselves who have been so deceived by the world and PP’s own propaganda. Thankfully the only PP clinic I know of that actually performs abortions is in the big city my little town is a suburb of so it makes it harder for our girls to get there (we also have very little mass transit) and there is a Birthright just around the corner from them!

Document what? I gave you a link to a news article -someone else gave you a link to another news article. You are much more intersted in parseing words on what the news article says than you are worrying about the aolughter that goes on in the abortuaries of this organizartion You have sucessfully hijacked two threads that were critical of PP-I suspect that was your intent all along.
Lets get back on subject-PP is a vile , racist orgainzation that exploits women , kills a quarter of a million children a year and works hard to elimnate those it considers inferiior-mainly poor black ,yellow or brown children.

Lets do this, I’ll assume you are a college student or younger. This based on the “under the dome”, I’ll pretend this is a piece of an assignment. I say to you “The title of your posting is Planned Parenthood Reports Record Abortions, High Profits is that accurate? Your source is Cybercast News Service and Family Research Council not Planned Parenthood. Am I missing a reference which shows these three are one in the same? I ask because poor documentation will certainly lower your grade, and it would make no sense for Planned Parenthood to write some of these quotes”

Bob you may have the best intentions but your out of control on this issue
I am going to assume this is an opinion, because their reports indicate over 90% of the patients do not receive abortions at Planned Parenthood

A lot of accusations here why??? Bob I know for a fact many of those accusations are untrue. What about the rest of the accusations are they true or untrue? Aside from the very patronizing tone of your posts, I find it laughable that you would bandy about the accusation of plagiarism – a charge that is serious enough no real professor would dare to make it over a posting in an internet forum, of all things (meaning that you are standing in for, at best, an overzealous grad student). Moreover, any professor who repeatedly said that a particular reference would have to be “sited” and not “cited” should rightly be in danger of losing their job.

I’ll point this out one last time before I remove this thread from my subscriptions: the “quoted” paragraphs in my first post were clearly from the CNSNews article, which I linked to, and the genealogy of those remarks can be traced back to the .pdf that appears on the Planned Parenthood website, which I also linked to. If you’d like to try and make more hay over it, that’s fine with me, but the three of us (you, estesbob, and myself) are probably the only ones keeping up with this thread at this point, so I doubt there will be anyone around to read it.

Actually, when you read closer, what they probably do is try to talk the woman into an abortion. If she resists and insists on asking for adoption help, they “refer” her to an adoption agency. In other words, they hand her a phone number of some local adoption agency! They don’t do the home study, the placement, the counseling, the classes, the legal paperwork, the court appearances… and yet they try to claim some moral high ground by including the word “adoption” to give people a warm fuzzy.

I believe you read the post concerning the catechism on deceiving others, so I am asking again for the umpteenth time for a direct reference, citation, cite, or even a site to support the statement made in the title as correct. BTW I seriously doubt your accusation concerning professors would hold up if tested.
