I was duped about 35 years ago by a Methodist Preacher, I had a phone call inviting me to speak at his Planned Parenthood Tuesday meeting. I had never heard of it at all. Since he wanted me to talk about the possibility of Extraterrestrials and our NASA programs I accepted. It was held in a smaller room in his church.

( It was 6 months later that I read in the newspaper that the Preacher had opened a “clinic” and it was for “population control”)

Well, I went there and spoke then answered many questions from about 30 women. I had no idea of what they were planning to do at this time. But the trend of thought was steered to high school students. I remember I told them to at least say “Hello” to them. I believe I said almost half of them needed a boost in their egos.

Now I know what Planned Parenthood does. Since that day 35 years ago P.P. has opened three “clinics” within a 60 mile radius of here. What do you know about Planned Parenthood? Do you have any websites that counter P.P.? Please help out. There is someone who needs your help. JMJ

This organization is very untruthful and diabolical in nature. From its founder Margerate Sanger til now there agenda is about death, death disguised as choice. They have even complimented Chinas population control, in China there are forced abortion, forced sterilazations, and even more sadly in China human unborn babies are even consumed as food.I was questioned about this on another thread, about this hysterical accusation,so if anyone is interested just request some weblinks and I will post them. The devil brought death into the world by his antics with Adam and Eve, he continues to bring death in the world via planned parenthood. I will look up some other facts if you need more.God Bless

Planned Parenthood is pure evil and is still working on their genocidal project to kill black people.

OK, I really don’t mean this in a rude way, but:

I don’t fully understand your post.

What? I know that China’s population control tactics are terrible, but eating babies? Give me a break.

That link doesn’t prove anything at all. It still strikes me as hysterical and bizarre nonsense. Those Chinese! They’ll eat anything!

I really think some people in the Pro Life movement needs to stop lying. I’ve heard so many dumb woppers (- ike the entire ecosystem is being contaminated by the hormones from birth control pills, which pill-taking women flush with their urine and which then entires the water system. When I told the person who told me that that I thought that sounded absurd, I got a VERY nasty retort and a lecture that basically told me that if I kept questioning these things, I’d be siding with the Murderers!

I think that is so stupid. The fact is that abortion is cheaper, easier, and no more medically risky than childbirth. There are many women who have abortions and are NOT eaten alive by guilt for the rest of their lives. Abortion is truy the more attractive option to many women. Lying to women and asserting a bunch of hysterical stuff does not convince them otherwise. To them, it all sounds like the movie “Reefer Madness.” It sounds like a joke.

I think that sort of rhetoric does more harm than good.

So per the usual “prochoice” person the ONLY consideration is with respect to the pregnant woman? No consideration for the unborn baby because it’s cheaper to abort? Good grief, listen to yourself. Someone has to speak for the unborn as they cannot speak for themselves.

As to ‘lies’ frankly the prolife movement doesn’t need to bother with making things up. The truth is far more grisly than fiction.

There, Lisa, you’ve made my point.

You automatically assume, because I question some of the arguments and methods used by Pro Life people, that I am Pro Choice.

Naturally, the baby ought to be considered, as well as the moral implications. Unfortunately, a lot of people simply don’t care about the babies and a lot of people aren’t convinced by the moral arguments.
There are many women who have an abortion and claim to feel no ill effects. They usually aren’t rendered sterile, they rarely die from the procedure, and they don’t live the rest of their lives in anguish. Telling them that they ought not to abort because it’s wrong doesn’t faze them.
This is highly frustrating, and so people start to make other claims that aren’t always true.

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that it not just the pro-lifers, there own papers report this and say it is “beneficial” for their health as well as placenta and as horrible as it is,why it is surprising?Right now in this country, people are wanting embryonic research. When you reduce people to commodities for your own gain ALL moral lines dissappear.I know people who have had abortions, too.Whether or not every one of them have physical complications is irrelevant. What about the mental and emotional implications. One of those people I know is my aunt is a pain pill addict who will break her own feet to get them, all of them suffer from deppression, three are atheist, the other is into pagan releigion.God Bless

Regarding the Chinese practice of eating aborted fetuses: I fail to see HOW you know that this is true. You posted a link to a web-site that is heavily biased and it doesn’t convince me of anything. “Their own papers?” How do you know this? Do you read Chinese? Or do you just believe it to be true because somebody told you so?

I don’t doubt that people will use aborted fetuses for utilitarian purposes, but that is a far cry from EATING them. If someone claimed that the local PP was eating them, nobody would believe it. But if it’s the CHINESE, well, then, of course! After all, they eat cats and snakes!

And, for every anecdotal account of someone who aborted and suffers from it today, I can A) supply you with another anecdotal account of someone who aborted and claims to feel no remorse, and B) raise the possibility that you can’t prove that the abortion was the direct cause of that person’s unhappiness. Some people abort because they are already unhappy.

It would be my guess that most women will feel some sort of remorse after having an abortion, but that’s different than ending up sterile and suicidal.

dict.regex.info/cgi-bin/j-e/inline/kanji.html?SASE=/cgi-bin/j-e/inline/dict

It’s a Japanese dictionary, but kanji is kanji. The Chinese and Japanese both use the same kanji, and though they read it differently each kanji still means the same thing. So if you don’t believe anyone here, you can always use that thing to translate it yourself.

Utilitarian purposes? Spare me the propeganda! That’s just as bad as eating them.

BFD. Who cares what the woman thinks after having an abortion, having no remorse is actually worse. Do you think we should let Charles Mansion go just because he didn’t feel any remorse when he killed people? Do you think murder should be legalized, as long as the murderer doesn’t feel regret afterwards? You’re not making sense.

Katybird,

You seem to have a problem with the entire pro life movement because someone once told you the birth control pill contaminates the ecosystem. Let me reassure you that that is not an argument used by the pro life movement; it may be an argument used by whoever told you that but that one person does not speak for an entire movment of people. Because someone is pro life and tells woppers does not mean that the pro life movement tells woppers. Did you have other examples because that is the only one you gave?

How do you feel about the pro abortion movement? Now that is a group of people that make a living of telling lies and distorting the truth! Are you sick of hearing them spew their nonsense or is it just that one wopper some some random pro lifer told you?

I don’t make sense if you think that I’m arguing that abortion is OK. That is not what I’m arguing.

Again, I’ll point to the example of the movie Reefer Madness. It was a propaganda movie meant to scare people away from smoking marajuana. It claimed that smoking pot would make you crazy and you’d act all freaky-scary. That is not true and everybody knows it, which is why the movie is now considered a joke. MTV used to show it late at night, and people would watch it while getting high, laughing their heads off.

Just because I can see that Reefer Madness is a stupid movie, that does not mean that I think you ought to smoke marajuana.

Many people shrug off the Pro-Life POV because they hear a bunch of hysterical nonsense that doesn’t seem to be based in any actual fact.

No, Martino, that was just one of MANY examples I can point to where someone has A) made a riduculous claim, and B) angrily assumed that I must be pro-choice when I said that I didn’t believe what they were saying.

Let me put it this way: I AM PRO LIFE AND I PARTICIPATE IN PRO LIFE ACTIVITIES.

The fact that you guys are automatically assuming otherwise, just because I don’t readily believe that Chinese people eat aborted fetuses merely prove the point I have been trying to make.

I was not assuming anything about you. I would also be concerned if I thought the Pro life Movement was using non factual claims to support its agenda; I just dont see that happening. I have read tons of pro life material and I have never come across a single rediculous claim. On the other hand, you are seeing that this is happening so I would like for you to give me other examples; I disregard that first one because I know for a fact that is not an argument used by the pro life movement. I do not doubt that someone said that to you, I am only saying that is one person saying something stupid and that hardly discredits the entire movement.

Katy bird, I am sorry I brought it up. Planned parenthood tries to keep Margerate Sangers Eugenic agenda out of the spotlight, too. It doesn’t help their agenda. I love all people, but we are on a down word spiral, and you can see the ramifications all around the world. God Bless you

About the China question I have seen that in the pro-life movement, and an encyclopedia online,as well as father Shaunessy on ewtn, on msnbc with Pat Buchanon, as well as other news sites, and Time magazine.I am sure not all Chinese practice this just like all americans don’t believe in abortions.I am very pro-life and active in the movement. The sources I cited were the basis of my comments, which I am sorry I brought up at this point.Let’s continue with planned parenthood, because there is somebody on this forum who is considering going to them for an unplanned pregnancy.God Bless

I am very confused.

katybird, sometimes I too am confused. Just a note about this. And I do not think you were rude. You asked an honest question.

While I worked at NASA as a Junior Physist(2.5 years, thats what they call interns) I had discussions with many interesting people and of course at that time extraterrestials were in the news & were discussed. A Scottish astronomer was there and had written a book about the probability of life on other planets, I did talk to him a lot. You asked about my expertise - I had none, no one is an expert on that subject - why?- no one has seen and talked to extraterrestials. I was , as Physists say, just a dabbler.

I have no idea why Planned Parenthood wanted me to speak except, I thought the group was a Methodist Club who wanted something " different". As I said, I had no clue they were an abortion group. I was aquainted with the son of one of the women.

The reason that I started this thread was to inquire if others had information about P.P. I have never studied it except for reading about it’s founder, Margret Sanger…she is a “handfull”.
