Pat Robertson and company apparently are entering a commercial venture in the Holy Land, with a theme park. What do you think of this? I don’t like the sounds of it, myself…

"A consortium of Christian groups, led by the television evangelist Pat Robertson, is in negotiation with the Israeli ministry of tourism and a deal is expected in the coming months. The project is expected to bring up to 1 million extra tourists a year but an undeclared benefit will be the cementing of a political alliance between the Israeli rightwing and the American Christian right."
 
This is history repeating itself in a way. Didn’t the Jim and Tammy Baker have something like this in North Carolina?
 
It just seems so wrong to build a theme park to make money off of Jesus. Maybe I’m taking it the wrong way, but I’d leave this place alone. Tourists come anyway. They don’t need a theme park to commercialize the footsteps of our risen Christ.
