Yes I think it’s a moral sin to miss mass and play golf, unless one can not find a church for miles and miles or some other very good reason. As for other churches, I figure it differs from sect. to sect.
Have you ever considered that if you offered your time at mass in worship of our great God, that your studying tme might be more productive?Last sunday on Easter our priest was preaching about this topic, (not golf in particular lol) but other things that keep people busy from attending mass for 1 hour. I think it is wrong not to attend church, although i don’t attend regularly im always busy in studying.
No, not unless you would pray to the golf clubs and to the golf course etc. Violates 3rd commandment, “Keep holy the Sabbath Day”Wait a minute…wouldn’t the going to golf and not going to Mass constitute as an offense against, “Thou shalt not have any gods before Me”? Wouldn’t it be an idol by definition?
yesPardon me, mind if I play through?"
I hope your happy that because of you, I have 15 infractions with this forum & it was you who led me up to being uncharitable to You. This bothers me very much, but I doubt it bothers you. Just want to get this off my chest
