playing with fire

On some of the outings with the youth group i am in, other kids keep burning peoples things, playing with arosol cans and producing fires with a thick cloud smoke(possibley toxic since plastic is sometimes burned).

Report it to your leaders.
They may need to do person/bag checks from now on.

BTW- where are the leaders?

Do you mean these young firebugs are burning other people’s things? If so this is more than just a matter of possibly dangerous play, but a serious lack of respect for others’ property. This needs to be addressed by your youth group leaders. Your parents, not just you, should insist that this be addressed by your group leaders. If the leaders do not care, as you say, then a report should be made, again by your parents, to whomever the group leaders’ superiors are: pastor, school principal, etc. Your parents may also want to discuss this matter directly with the parents of other members of this group.

Also, just for you to think about, I would not want to trust my son’s safety to a youth group leader who was unconcerned about children in their charge playing with fire and disrespecting others’ property, and I would probably forbid my son from participating in their group if the circumstances were as you report. You may want to think seriously for yourself if you really want to participate in this group, or at least not be too surprised if your parents decide you should not.
 
If your youth leaders are turning a blind eye to dangerous activities, you should speak with your parents and together report this to your Priest.

You don’t sneak. Its up to the adults to find out who started these fires and to punish them for it.
If you can manage it, don’t join in and even try to persuade the others out of it. But don’t worry if this is too difficult.

Just add a rider to that. Unless the police get involved and want to take some sort of formal action. Then tell your father exactly what happened and he’ll tell you what to do.
