This is a plea to help this Mission in Utah.
I was raised Mormon as a child. But I never really believed in the faith. I married a Catholic when I was 22 years old and went to Mass a few times each year but it never really hit me or anything. Then when I turned 39 I was asked by my LDS brother in law and LDS sister to come to Utah to get rich selling businesses. My wife made me promise that I would look into the Catholic faith and go to the RCIA. I was baptized Catholic 11 years ago in Northern Utah. Everything I learned about the faith seemed so real. Since then I have been a team RCIA member. I understand both faiths well. It’s the cross; I believe that can change hearts. As you know it is not something the LDS meditate on. They seem to be in a mode of just going through the motions. The cross is seen by them as just a murder weapon. Yet it is in pain and suffering that we are transformed.
Because the Trinity is foreign to them they can not grasp this dying to self, to be immersed into God, into Christ, into Trinity forever. To make a long story short I did not get rich selling businesses as it lasted about 6 months. I went back to working for myself as a painting Contractor. I started this website soon after I was baptized www.utahmission.com in order to pass on to others the gift that I had been given by so many Catholics.
I have prayed for years not to be bound financially to this area so I could speak more freely about our faith to others in need of it. But as you may know one needs to hold it in, in fear of loosing accounts, business, Income for family. . I have done pretty well speaking about Christ and His church to the LDS. All of it out of love for them. We give tours of our church each month and this really helps to break down barriers, the lies etc… Please go to my new site at
chooseyourcross .com and take a look at these crosses and crucifixes.
They are Made in Utah but intertwine with the Bethlehem Olive wood carvers….And the Sisters of the Holy Cross. The sell of these crosses and crucifixes help the wood carvers in Bethlehem and the Sisters of the Holy Cross, and this Utah Mission. If you don’t know what to get for those you love as a gift please consider the Utah Mission Crosses or Crucifix’s. You won’t find anything like them anywhere else. Your purchase will go a long way to bringing the power of Christ’s Cross to the LDS. If you understand both faiths, then you understand the Utah Mission. If this appears to be a sales letter… it is.
Take a look at the Utah Mission Crucifix with the scriptures on The Cross itself. It is powerful. Even if you knew nothing about the LDS faith and the Lds missionaries knocked on the door it would be all you need to go through each Scripture with them. They would be asking the question…why don’t we have the Cross, this Christian symbol in our Church… In our homes? I know this…I help teach this to them
